The operations check

With former step, the hardware information to be crowded to write in FPGA and the software information for the processor could be created.
First, it gathers these information on two all together to one configuration-information.
It presses the right of the Mus in "Elf Files"->"microblaze_0"->"Imp Executable:" in the "Platform" tab of XPS and it chooses "Browse...".

" It sets "life.elf" which is the execution program which was created in SDK to File name:".

The one of the menu iconIt presses "WO" and it generates the configuration data "download.bit" to load into FPGA.
The console message is as follows.
Initializing Memory.
Running Data2Mem with the following command :
data2mem, bm implementation/life_bd, p xc6slx45csg324-2-bt
implementation/life.bit , bd program/life/Debug/life.elf tag microblaze_0 -o
b
implementation/download.bit
Memory Initialization completed successfully.

Done!

In "MOSI" now

 make-f life.make init_bram started.
make : There is not "KO" thing which it should do to 'init_bram'.
Done!

When the message as it is comes out, it deletes "life.bit" in the "implementation" directory and it is the one of the menu icon again. It presses "WO" and it re-generates the configuration data "download.bit" to load into FPGA.

Well, it does an operations check.
It uses an experiment board and the host personal computer for the operations check.
Of the data "download.bit" which was designed first by former instruction
It is necessary to copy on to the host personal computer.

As for the following activity, it is T.A.. However, it does. You follow a designation.

Next, it does a bonding between the experiment board and the electronic computer.
  1. It confirms that the experiment board electric power switch becomes off and it connects an electric power supply.
  2. It connects an experiment board and an LCD monitor with the cable. It makes the electric power supply of the LCD monitor on.
  3. It makes an experiment board electric power switch on. The light-emitting-diode of the green under the electric power switch lights up.
  4. It connects an experiment board and a personal computer by the plot form cable USB.
The light-emitting-diode of the green under the cable connector lights up.

After the preparation is completed, by the program, "iMPACT", it writes a designed data in FPGA.

On the LCD monitor, will the life gaming have worked right?

If it seems that there is a hora, let's attempt to make a tennis gaming.
